Annette is an independent creative copywriter, specializing in partnerships with web developers and business owners. She's equally adept in delivering precise, digestible longform projects and snappy, memorable taglines. Her clients love her easygoing, let's-figure-this-thing-out-together style (almost as much as they love her blink-and-you'll-miss-it turnarounds.)

Annette graduated with honors from the University of Southern California School of Cinema, launching immediately into freelance commercial production. To date, Annette's credits include commercial spots for such clients as Toyota, Dell, Dirt Devil, Eggo, Denny's, Kraft, Gillette, Best Buy, Budweiser, Procter & Gamble, Washington Mutual, Syfy (SciFi) and the Travel Channel, as well as music videos for such artists as Depeche Mode, The Killers, Keith Urban, Michael Buble, Good Charlotte, Britney Spears, Marilyn Manson, and the Jonas Brothers (to name just a few.)

Working in production allowed unprecedented access to the world of agency creative, and Annette soon became hooked on the method behind the madness of advertising. What began as an entertaining dalliance - tweaking the marketing materials of close friends - soon hopped on the word-of-mouth express. Before she knew it, Annette was working with international clients such as Countrywide Home Loans and EZ-Up. It became necessary to set out a shingle, and Clever Ginger Creative was born.

Now, Annette is best known for her ability to deliver something vital to each and every client: personality. Personality differentiates a brand from the herd, and personality allows that brand to thrive. When personality becomes an integral part of a brand strategy, it magnetizes a customer base. Annette O'Neil is a third-culture kid, and she still lives life like it's just a big game of passport bingo. Raised next to an epic series of flightlines in the US Air Force, she's unable to sleep soundly without air traffic noise.
